RCG PACS Administrator Training School Overview

Boston, MA RCG HealthCare Consulting is pleased to offer an innovative PACS (Picture Archival and Communication Systems) Administrator Training School. This unique three-and-a-half day course is customized to provide attendees with the knowledge and tools they will need to lead, manage and support the PACS initiative at their respective organizations. Held at Massachusetts General Hospital, one of the first hospitals in the nation to deploy PACS, the course includes both didactic learning sessions and panel discussions with PACS administrators and industry experts. Highlights of the course include hands-on sessions and creative breakout sessions designed to tackle some of the tougher PACS management issues.

Solid operational planning and implementation will lead to a successful PACS effort, resulting in an increase in service quality and a reduction of costs. This school will help participants:
    Understand PACS technology fundamentals and standards of HL7, DICOM and IHE
  • Re-engineer Radiology workflow for successful enterprise image/information distribution management and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Integrate modalities and additional information systems to PACS

    This school is accredited by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for 23.5 Category-A credits.

    Attendees must stay the length of the entire course in order to receive the ASRT credits. Partial credit will not be awarded.
